As you know, I have many opinions. I would never presume to have a comment on another countrys' politics. I only urge anyone, who resides in a Democracy, or has the right to vote- should always exercise that right/privilege!
I know nothing about Canadian politics, so won't comment on the result.
Perhaps they could try reversing the voting rules, so you can only vote if you're below the age of 18, or whatever?

Buff: I welcome opinions from people in other countries, as long as they're informed. We can't afford not to be aware of what goes on in the world, especially our neighbors. But voting is a must.
Brian: I thought the very same thing. Children aren't as fearful of change as adults are. They're not as invested as adults in old practices and sometimes they problem-solve in a much more efficient manner.

Isn't that amazing? We should get our children more involved in the political process. About half of the registered voters took part in our election this week...that's pathetic.

I'm sorry I don't know much about the specific
politics of your country. Only read that Harper is your PM. A conservative, right? Did he merge with another party years ago? Think I read that. And maybe a few other things.
It's hard enough to keep up on what we've got going on here.
Hope if things change for you there, it will only be in a good way. Here's {{{hoping}}} anyway!
