While I'm still trying to work from home as Chicklet has only managed to accept a glass of orange juice this morning, the TV was on kind of as background noise.
I found out the following:
For people that have serious sweating issues, there's a treatment.
BOTOX!
Yes folks, BOTOX!. They inject it under the skin of a person's underarms and VOILÀ! Apparently the treatment works anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
Of course my first and immediate concern was the following:
If you get BOTOX injected under your arms will you end up like Ralphie's little brother, Randy?
Walking away is not an option... dialogue must prevail.

my goodness I loved A Christmas Story...
Have I told you how much I big pink puffy heart your new look? Well I do.
And did you know I got to see, tour, and get my picture taken in the actual house that A Christmas Story was filmed in? It's in Wifester's hometown, Cleveland, OH. I stood next to the famous Leg Lamp for an especially wonderful shot!
Hope Chicklett gets better soon!
Wasn't it reported that Sharon Stone (I think - apologies Sharon if it wasn't you) wanted her adopted son to have botox injections in his feet because they were sweaty and smelly?
Gary: It isn't Christmas until I've basked in the glow of the leg lamp.
NMFC: OMG OMG OMG!!! You stood next to The Lamp? *faints*
Thanks for the compliment about the digs... I'm really happy with it too :)
Chicklet is resting and catching up on some reading.
Ake: I remember this story came about during some custody issues with her ex... and you know the crazy things that can happen during divorce proceedings.
My favorite Christmas movie. That and Christmas Vacation.
And yes, I think that's exactly what would happen. Or you'd have the armpit equivalent of hemorrhoids
I got caught up in Maury Povich for a while there....you do see the darndest stuff.....
OMG, Anndi...this is hysterical!!!
Hey, you actually taught me something here, cause I honestly had never hear of this before.
I'm going to google this tonight when I get home from work!!!
Jees! What will they think to do with Botox next????
And isn't A Christmas Story the most FABU?????
Hope Chicklet feels better to day!
Cat: Excellent movies! The squirrel up the tree scene is one of my favs!
My fav cartoon Christmas movie? How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Chicklet and I watched it the other night and I can now say, The Christmas Season has Officially begun!
hahahaha hemorrhoids hahahaha!
DB: Maury... oy vey!
Ron: I am a public service, I am :)
What will they think to do with Botox next????
Do you really want me to answer that? ;)
haha @ the christmas story. just thinking bout botox injections is making me freak cos what about people w sweaty feet. can u imagine if ya got injected in the foot? lol YIKES.
i hope chicklet feels better soon.
I love that part of Christmas Story!!
I wonder - will the people who shoot up their arm pits also have really smooth arm pit skin and will this make them want to raise their arms up in the air like they just don't care
cause I really couldn't handle that
I wish you wellness! for you and Kidlet - both - at the same time.
Lordy!
Ciara: They'll never be able to walk barefoot until it wears off.. the skin will be so smooth they'll slip and slide everywhere!!!
I love love love that movie!
I hope so too! LOL
Dianne: I can sooo relate to that part of the movie. Having my mom wrap what seemed like an endless scarf around my neck, forehead, stomach, legs, the tip of my nose, both my elbows.... ;)
I'll be fine so long as they don't sing or dance or start acting all gangsta-like LOL
Thanks for the wishes, my dear. We're literally sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Hope Chicklet is feeling better. I did hear that. It frightens me... for real. Would it look lumpy??
IT'S ON TONIGHT!!!! 8:00pm TNT!!!!
WOOOOOOOOO
I have the leglamp Christmas ornament. close enough to the real thing and thats when Christmas is ON !
DeeMarie: We'll see how she does tomorrow. At least she hasn't barfed.
At least it's not like a face lift... could you imagine? Whoever would get an armpit lift would end up with the back of their knee caps under their arms.
Bond: A botox armpit procedure? ;)
King: Now THAT is a cool ornament!
I'd rather sweat
NO A CHRISTMAS STORY!!!!!
So if the sweat doesn't ooze out from the armpits where does it go? Do people who get Botox injections under their arms have extra sweaty undies on hot days?
Fortunately, I don't sweat...I perspire. Cheers!!
There are reasons that I avoid daytime TV. You just described one of them!
Hahahaha you crack me up! ;D
Tag. You're it! Countdown Meme
You'll shoot your eye out!
I have to check and make sure we have the 24hr marathon this year.
Both my sister and my friend Bill had the botox in the arm pits. It is strange, but effective.
Bill even had it in his wrists for sweaty palms.
Charles: Indeed.
Bond: hehehe!
Jay: Your mind goes where mine dares not! I like that!
Matt: Well aren't YOU special! Cheers babe!
Nick: You truly are a wise man.
Roger: Glad I do my friend, glad I do. SMOOCH
Mimi: OK... but you still have homework...
Travis: And he very nearly almost does!
Karen: And they can put their arms down? Where does the sweat go?
OK, sweaty palms are a big turnoff so I can see why someone would want to take care of that. Wait, are you sure it wasn't just to erase his palm lines so he can fool fortune tellers?
My concern is - if you get botox injected under your arm pits, where does the sweat go?
Botox?? That's crazy!
I'm glad deodorant is much less expensive and a lot less painful! :)
The first annual viewing of The Christmas Story was held last night...with dozens more to come amidst the other classics...
