it kills everything else...

...maybe the cold and snow will kill the germies?

After being cooped up for a while, Chicklet and I went out to clear some of the snowfall we've had over the last two days. And after helping me remove the snow, and ice and snow (yeah... layers!) that covered the car, she wanted to play a bit.

It's nice to see some rosy cheeks on her face.

What sucks though is: no hot chocolate as the ban on all things dairy is still on *sigh*

"Love is like swallowing hot chocolate before it has cooled off. It takes you by surprise at first, but keeps you warm for a long time."

Mims: Someone?
Yes, it's wonderful.

DB: Thank you, sweetie.
Hey, that's an idea... Of course you would think of that!
SMOOCH!

I'm so glad you guys are feeling better, this sickness going around is terrible. Love the pictures, Chicklet is a cutie!

No hot chocolate during the wintertime? Oh no!

That looks like a good time in the snow. That soy was a mighty fine idea. Let me know how it turns out.

Awww-some! Get it? Awww....Good that peeps seem to be feeling better. I like snow, but not so much of it.

This just gets better and better. That Monty Python clip is classic! (One of my favorite movies, how'd you know? Sniff..) AND I had a Sally Field moment too! http://irishgumbo.blogspot.com/2008/12/my-first-sally-field-moment.html

What are your terms for parting with the Guinness beef stew recipe? Exchange in kind? I'm salivating.

Casey: Thanks! I'm hoping after the weekend she'll be back to her usual milk guzzling self. These bugs have really been fierce.

Jay: Hopefully it won't last much longer.

Heinous: She came in and told me she smelled like snow and that it was a good thing ;)
She doesn't normally like soy milk, but chocolate makes everything tasty.

Irish Gumbo: LOL you're too cute. If it were up to me it would snow around Christmas and New Years and then we could go back to nice warm weather.
You have excellent taste in movies and beer!

Send me an e-mail (it's on my profile) and I'll hook you up.

Awesome snow pics! Reminds me of where I used to live, heh. I loved coming inside and having a cup of hot cocoa, soy can save winter!

Where we live now, it slushes. That's it. Cold, wet, slush, that totally messes up traffic for a day, and then melts. Back to rain. Sigh.

Nice to see signs of life around your place. We may have some snow here over the weekend.

That reminds me. I've got marshmallows.

Goodfather: It is rather beautiful, all this snow (except the yellow spots, heh!). Slush is only good when it's cherry flavoured and being enjoyed on a hot summer day.

Jeff: I'm hoping it's a turning point, it's nice what snow on eyelashes does... one of my favourite things ;)

Charles: We'll be right over!

They have this powder stuff they put in a packet. You open the packet and dump it in hot water.

Presto!

Hot chocolate!

It's not as good as the stuff you make with milk, but at least it shouldn't upset the chocolate or dairy restrictions.

Sadly, the bugs seem to thrive at this time of year - Helena's just getting over one too...

Glad she is doing better… that is sad about the hot cocoa though, trust me, I feel that pain.

And thanks for the MP this morning, perfect way to start my lazy Sunday : )

Sounds like you're both feeling better! Good!

That looks like so much fun! I don't remember the last time I played in the snow. Maybe that's why I don't like winter as much anymore.
