I want to thank you all for the kind words of encouragement and support you have given me.
Daddy is finally reunited with his beloved Jacqueline and this makes me smile through the many tears I have shed and have yet to shed. He died peacefully in his sleep early this morning.
I know his hand will guide mine when I plant flowers in his garden this year. The roses I'll buy for him on Father's Day.
I love you, Daddy.

My tears are flowing too. I am so sorry for your loss and for Chicklet at this time. We've watched you love him and your mom, honoring them and their memories for the longest time, post after beautiful post. I feel like I know them through you.

What a lovely tribute. I lost my father and mother three months apart 9 years ago. It is difficult even when it is time. I bet when they aren't dancing, they are smiling down on you with pride and joy and love.
