I just ran across your link from a post I did 2 years ago. i just want you to know that my dad's birthday is May 8th as well, and i can only imagine what it must have been klike when he was in Europe in WWII and Germany surrendered.
I lost Dad in 1987, and am sorry to hear of your loss as well.
