summer bliss

I sat down to my computer for a few minutes thinking that it would be nice to visit a few folks out in the blogosphere. And after visiting the extremely talented Charles, I popped over to Lana's (his lovely bride).

She had the most peaceful video of the rain that had fallen on her little part of heaven on earth (heaven on earth always includes one's love, doesn't it *winks at Lana*). Just as I was leaving a comment, the skies opened up and... you guessed it: RAIN!

It's odd, as the clouds that came with the migraine left me... rain clouds rinsed everything clean here around our house.

It was lovely and refreshing! The only thing that could have made it better was if my Honey had been holding me under that rain. Tendrils of hair sticking to my cheeks, water landing and tethering on my eyelashes, gentle drops cooling my skin, soft slow kisses and a tender embrace... and a giggle or two. The promise of shared passion.

When you were a child, did you ever run out into a summer rain in your bathing suit to play? It was one of my favourite things to do. Still is...

Lovely post, Anndi!

WOW...talk about MAGIC!

This is one of those things that happens and you just KNOW that someone is watching over you!

And YES...I LOVE to walk in the rain. I'm the only person in this city that actually goes outside when I see it raining. There's something refreshing about it. And love how the air smells.

Thanks for sharing this, Anndi. Really enjoyed it!

I love the sound of rain. That's why I made sure to have a tin roof put on our deck. I used to go playing in the rain all the time as a youngster, and sometimes I still walk in the rain. Lana and I got sprinkled on pretty good today, in fact.

Hey, I haven't been keeping up with the blog world lately, due to unforeseen circumanstances, but am trying to catch back up with everyone and see that you've moved. I'm following you...you can't get rid of me that easy :)

How you feel about rain has alot to do with your mood at that moment...

We were caught in the rain Saturday. We were RV shopping and the heavens opened up. We headed for the show room and were quite wet when we got there. A cold rain on a very hot muggy day. It was refreshing :) I was with my honey but there was none of the good stuff you mentioned. Maybe we've been married to long?

Ron: It was just what we needed yesterday to give us some relief from the heat.
I had to inform my daughter however that it would not cancel out her need to take a shower! LOL
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend.

Charles: It's a most soothing sound. And walking in a summer rain is wonderful.

John: Yay! *Hugs* Glad to see you back, dear.

Buff: Good point. I do have to admit that cold fall rains don't make me want to frolick...

Lu: The mad dash can be fun. And I don't think there's such a thing a "married too long" for a lovely couple as you and your hubby. SMOOCH

I'm glad you're feeling better.

We actually had a summer weekend. Temps got into the high 80s to low 90s. Mr Tucker keeps giving me the look...you know the one? It's the look that says, "How come you can't make it any cooler in here?"

Glad the ache in your head went away...Missed you last evening, but knew you could not attend the feast...

I often did and still do go out in the rain..bathing suit or fully clothed...

I am silly that way

I'm so glad you are feeling better Angelbaby. Thank you for checking up on us;-)

You well know how I adore the rain. I think one reason I love The House so much is because our bedroom is up amongst the trees and when it rains ....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Oh, I LOVED playing in the rain when I was younger. Me and Beth used to walk in the rain and her Gram would get so mad at us, cause it would lightning, too. But there is NOTHING better.

Last year, after not raining here for six weeks, me and my hubby stood out in the rain at 8:00 PM and just got soaking wet! It was so FREEING!!!!!!
