Walking away is not an option... dialogue must prevail.

"A good listener tries to understand what the other person is saying. In the end he may disagree sharply, but because he disagrees, he wants to know exactly what it is he is disagreeing with."

I just don't know...

... can anything associated with technology be real? I miss meeting people in person, but I'm glad I can interact with people everywhere through my computer... I just think things are far too heavily weighed towards the world out there at the moment.

I'll be around, but I have to prioritize what's tangible.

If it keeps up, man will atrophy all his limbs but the push-button finger.
~Frank Lloyd Wright

This is perhaps the most beautiful time in human history; it is really pregnant with all kinds of creative possibilities made possible by science and technology which now constitute the slave of man - if man is not enslaved by it.
~Jonas Salk

People still have basic needs. We are being changed by technology, but we still control it- if we choose...

It's a balance. You have more freedom here, in some respects, but a human needs personal interaction.

It's easy to get lost in what some people think is a made of world. Just keep your feet on the ground :)

Buff: I sometimes think it's like being hypnotized...

Songbird: Balance is indeed key. I don't know if there's more freedom, but some people have less inhibition.

Akelamalu: Thank you dear. *hugs*

Leigh: Indeed...

It's real. If you touch somebody's life, even electronically, it's real. Sometimes words can make all the difference. Hugs to you.

Hey Anndi,
Comment ça va ?
Yes I know, typing in messages on a computer is different than one-to one contact.
But, we do make an impact on people and touch them.
We know that this lady behind it is real, flesh and blood and all heart.
That's why when we will be Montreal this year, we will definately want to meetyou, dear Anndi.

Bises.

There are times when I have become virtually tired and disgusted with virtual reality.

I think it's absolutely amazing that I can log onto the computer, talk with someone in say, oh, Canada ;), and learn that they use boots in winter because of the snow. However, I never want to do back to spending 24 hours a day on here again.

I really like your "easier said than done" deal...way cool. Great blog. I'll add you to my blog favorites. Can you please tell me how you got the indivisual song players in your posts? That's a way cool idea. Thanks.

I agree with the songbird. It's a balance. The inter-thingy can be fun and supportive but we all need the human contact. We wither and die without it...

Meri: Sometimes I struggle with who is real... but thank you.

Barbara: J'ai bien hâte de te voir. It will be wonderful to get to meet you!

Turnbaby: I know she's wise, but I'm unsure about some.

Nick: Amen!

Dana: You are too precious! *hugs*

Gene: Thank you so much for visiting, sorry it's during one of my moods. I used lifelogger, but they're experiencing technical difficulties at the moment.

Coop: I just need to refocus just a bit. SMOOCH
