drive by post

I'm still live, not quite ready to write exactly but I had to share this...

Maybe someone will get a chuckle from it, I know I laughed heartily.

"One horse-laugh is worth ten thousand syllogisms. It is not only more effective; it is also vastly more intelligent."

It was slightly amusing until baloon two.

As a cat lover it was wrong.

Why? Cats are not here for our 'human sort' of amusement.

I know he wasn't distressed as such but it wasn't right to do that, and when they changed baloons it proved his owners were setting him up.

Soz. Cat lover.

We are here to amuse them, not the other way around...;-)

I kept waiting for the balloon to pop sending the cat into a skyward spring.

BTW- Happy Birthday (belated) to Chicklet

I know I shouldn't, but I did - I laughed!

An excellent example of one of the many aspects of the feline-human relationship - I love the way that cat seems so aloof.

I have to agree with 4 Dinners
it's one of the reasons I'm getting less and less pleased with Youtube
it encourages people to be mean spirited and downright stupid

I do love you and I know you'd never laugh at anything hurtful

I have worked with animals for years and years
at the point that the cat stopped in his tracks and looked up he was clearly looking to be helped

also they were pulling something along to make him walk around, they should be ashamed of themselves

static electricity...it's a beautiful thing.....,

given some of the comments I guess I shouldn't tell the story of taping the cat's tail to the back of his head with duct tape.....

*giggles*

My students and I shared this and laughed till we had tears in our eyes. Thanks hon - it's a gem.

For those who thought it was cruel, the cat wasn't being hurt, only mildly insulted which, knowing cats, would've happened somehow anyway. I compare it to putting my dog's favourite chew toy in the toe of my rubber boot so she gets her head stuck trying to get it out, then walks around trying to get the boot off without letting go of the toy. Now THAT'S funny!

Hope all is well, hon.
